Digital Twins in Clinical Trials: Simulating Success Before Enrolment
Digital twins in clinical trials simulate patient outcomes to reduce risk and accelerate timelines. Learn how sponsors use them for predictive trial design.
Pharmatica is built on a single principle: strategic value requires verification. This Editorial Policy sets out the standards by which we select guests, commission content, handle commercial relationships, and correct errors. It applies to all Pharmatica productions, including all four series, all published whitepapers, and all Insights produced in association with the Scientific Council.
Pharmatica maintains complete editorial independence from commercial partners, sponsors, and guests. No advertiser, sponsor, or third party may direct, influence, or veto editorial content. Guests are selected solely on the basis of their expertise, relevance to our audience, and ability to deliver verified, practical insight. Members of the Scientific Council are chosen for their professional standing, not their commercial affiliations.
All claims made in Pharmatica episodes, Insights, and whitepapers must be supportable by the contributor's direct professional experience, published research, or verifiable public data. Guests and Scientific Council members are briefed in advance on the expectation that they speak from genuine first-hand knowledge.
Guests and council members are selected for substantive, current expertise in their field. We do not platform generalists as specialists, and we do not allow commercial relationships to substitute for genuine knowledge.
On contested topics including regulatory approaches, clinical methodologies, and market strategies we seek to represent the range of credible professional perspectives rather than advocate for a single position.
Any commercial relationships relevant to an episode or publication including sponsor involvement and contributor employer affiliations are disclosed clearly to audiences. Sponsored content is always labelled as such and separated from editorial content.
We correct errors promptly and transparently. If factual errors are identified after publication, we update the associated written content and, where material, issue a correction notice. We do not silently delete or alter published content without disclosure.
Guests and contributors are asked to disclose any financial or organisational relationships that could be perceived as a conflict of interest in relation to the topic being discussed. Undisclosed conflicts, if identified post-publication, will be addressed publicly.
Guest selection is the sole responsibility of the Pharmatica editorial team. Criteria include:
• Demonstrable seniority and current relevance of experience
• Direct practitioner knowledge (not solely consultancy or advisory)
• Ability to contribute actionable, verified insight for our target audience
• Willingness to engage in substantive, unscripted discussion within the agreed topic framework
We do not accept payment for guest appearances. Commercial sponsorship of an episode does not guarantee or confer the right to guest selection.
Scientific Council members are appointed by the editorial team based on their professional standing, depth of expertise, and relevance to Pharmatica's series. Council members who host episodes or contribute to whitepapers are subject to the same editorial standards as external guests, including verification requirements and conflict of interest disclosures.
All whitepapers published under the Pharmatica brand are subject to peer review by at least one Scientific Council member independent of the authors. Insights published alongside episodes are reviewed by the editorial team for factual accuracy before publication. Neither whitepapers nor Insights may be used as vehicles for commercial promotion without clear labelling as sponsored or branded content.
Pharmatica accepts episode and series sponsorships. Sponsors may present their organisation in an introductory segment clearly labelled as sponsored content. Sponsors may not: approve or veto questions, direct the editorial angle, request the omission of competitor mentions, or review episode content prior to publication for commercial rather than factual reasons.
Branded content and thought-leadership productions are labelled clearly as "Produced in partnership with [Organisation]" throughout.
To report a factual inaccuracy or raise an editorial complaint, contact us at editorial@pharmatica.io. We will acknowledge all complaints within 5 business days and respond with a decision within 20 business days. Where a correction is warranted, we will implement it promptly and note it publicly in the relevant content.
This policy is reviewed annually and updated when material changes to our editorial practices occur. Queries: editorial@pharmatica.io
